Veteran Politician Oliver Lemachon Seki who passed on last week will be laid to rest on Friday this week.
Governor Joseph ole Lenku who consoled with the family said the late was a great man whose wisdom was highly sort after by both junior and senior politicians in the County before they sought any political position.

“His life was greatly lived and our generation will live to remember his contributions towards political and democratic freedom of the people of Kajiado County,” Lenku said.
Area MP Joseph Manje said the deceased was a great leader actively involved in agitating for the total development of the area while guarding existing ones.
Ababu Namwamba-CAS Foreign Affairs also visited the family with politician Peter Musei, he described the later as a person who defended rights of the people.

Seki had vied for Kajiado County senator position in Labour Party in 2017, has vied for positions in many politician parties including KANU and has been fighting for freedom of people.

According to the family the cortege will leave Umash Funeral home on Friday 21st June 2019 for funeral service at St Joseph Cathedral Ngong at 10:30 AM there after burial at his farm in Oloolua, Kajiado North constituency. The family will hold harambee on Wednesday 19th June to clear medical bills and burial expenses.
