A Sh598 million water project which is expected to serve over 28,000 residents of Kilgoris and Lolgorian has been launched in Transmara West sub County, Narok County.
According to Brigadier Rtd. Stephen Kehu from the Air force but currently the Chair for Central Rift valley water works development agency, the water project will take approximately eighteen months to be completed.
Engineer Hoseo Wendoch of CEO of Central Rift valley water works development agency said that they as an agency were implementing one of the sixteen projects lined up in their agency.
