One Acre Fund MOU set to boost crop yields

County CECM for Agriculture John Marindany recently signed an MOU between the county government of Narok and One Acre Fund at Chambai hotel.

He said that he will work hand in hand with the officials to accomplish their mission in benefiting the small scale farmers.

One Acre Fund is a non-profit Agricultural service provider registered with the Registrar of companies as a foreign branch under certificate of compliance no. f.52\2007 and is working with small holder farmers in East Africa and enables farmers to dramatically increase yields and profit.

One Acre fund wishes to establish a partnership to foster cooperation and to complement each others effort.

It will also increase small holder farmer access to high quality Agricultural inputs, credits, extension services and new technologies in rural parts in Narok County.

Quality products include, maize and bean seeds, fertilizer, solar lights , cook stoves, reusable sanitary towels, storage bags and gravellia seeds.
