In an effort to appreciate retiree teachers, Namanga Primary School alumni association visited their former teacher in Kandisi Kajiado North Sub County.
The over 50 former students dressed in the school’s uniform brought back fond memories. Some of the alumni are now parents, others studied in the school in 1980s.

Majid Omar interim chairman of the association said the association was founded in 2020 to appreciate their former school teachers.
Omar said the alumni consist of members from around the country and diaspora .They have already visited six teachers in 2020 and will make more visits in 2021.
Former teacher Francis Sateyian and his family who welcomed them in his Kandisi home appreciated the alumni efforts. He received gifts as appreciation to celebrate the festivals.
“This was premeditated by God, I will be joining you in visiting my colleagues who I have not seen for many years,” he said.
The alumni are also planning to start supporting the Namanga School.
