Nairobi County‘s Merl Omondi is the winner of this year’s Miss Untamed 2020, Kenya
The 21 year old beat 19 other contestants representing different counties in a competition held in Ongata Rongai ,Kajiado North county on Saturday.
She was crowned by her predecessor, Miss Untamed 2019, Fiona Nzula.
Omondi is a fourth year student at Mount Kenya University pursuing Human Recourse Management.
She has contested in five other competitions and has emerged victories in three events, she was crowned Miss YMCA Thika 2018, Miss Utawala 2019 and now Miss Untamed 2020.

The model says she plans to focus in empowering boy child, who has been forgotten.
“We are forgetting boy child, we have been empowering the girl child, we should empower both genders,” she said.
The titles have been of great benefit to her since she has been able to empower children in children’s homes and those living in the streets.
Untamed Kenya founder Ken Philip said they nurture talents of models who are sourced from grassroots.
“We organize competitions in every county, winners participate in the nationwide event,” he said.
The modeling agency has engaged in environmental conservation, eradicating female genital mutilation, anti-jigger campaigns and community building campaigns such as provision of water by drilling boreholes in semi-arid regions.
