Nado Enterit headed to play in KPL – Shukuru

Kajiado County will soon have a team playing in the Kenya Premier League.
Football Kenya Federation, county official Nathaniel Shukuru says, last year promoted a team to national division two, and this year the club will play a division one league.
“This is a significant move towards Kenya Premier League. Nado Enterit FC is headed to be the first team in the history of Kajiado to play in the national league and KPL if their trend of winning their subsequent league games will continue,” said Shukuru.
Shukuru said Kajiado County will this year have two teams playing in the national division two after successfully finishing on top of the branch league in 2017.
Alhaly FC of Kajiado town and PJ Dave FC from Isinya, he said will join national league trials this year.
Shukuru, who is the Kajiado FKF secretary general, spoke during morans cup in Kajiado. He said the promotion of the teams to higher tiers of Kenyan football will explore talents from the young players in the region.
He said he is optimistic that Kajiado County will soon have elite clubs which will produce national players.
Speaking during the same event the newly appointed sports CEC, Alvin Kimani reiterated that the County Government will work with all federations to promote sports and vowed to help those teams in the national league
