Principal Magistrate Judicaster Nthuku has acquitted Michael Gitaka who was charged with attempted murder of his boss Joseph Kariuki on December 4, 2018 at Kimana AP camp.
He was acquitted on the ground that prosecution failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the accused indeed intended to killed the complainant, the court heard.
The complainant Joseph kariuki had accused Michael Gitaka for shooting him on December 4 2018 at Kimana Administration Police AP post.
In the judgement, principal magistrate Judicaster Nthuku ruled out that the prosecutor had not established enough evidence to prove that the accused Michael Gitanga was attempting to murder the complainant Joseph Kariuki at Kimana police post on 4 December, 2018.
