Man acquitted of attempted murder

Principal Magistrate Judicaster Nthuku has acquitted Michael Gitaka who was charged with attempted murder of his boss Joseph Kariuki on December 4, 2018 at Kimana AP camp.

He was acquitted on the ground that prosecution failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the accused indeed intended to killed the complainant, the court heard.

The complainant Joseph kariuki had accused  Michael Gitaka for  shooting him on December 4 2018 at Kimana Administration Police  AP post.

In the judgement, principal magistrate  Judicaster Nthuku ruled out that  the prosecutor had not established enough evidence to prove that the accused  Michael Gitanga was attempting to murder the complainant Joseph Kariuki at Kimana police post  on 4 December, 2018.
