Knut asks Govt to extend birth certificates deadline

Kajiado County Kenya National Union of Teachers branch (KNUT) Chairman, Julius Kisai has called on both the National and County governments to help parents and teachers facing difficulties in acquiring birth certificates.
The chairman called for extension of issuing of birth certificates to allow those who had not acquired them to do so.
Mr Kisai added that the head teachers were getting a hard time in filling in the IFMIS forms for the pupils in cyber cafes and wasting a lot of time.
