KCA University Kitengela Campus has donated 70 mattresses and balls to GK Prison Kitengela towards supporting rehabilitation of the inmates.
Dr. Chrisantus Makokha who is incharge of the Prison appreciated the University fraternity for the support.
He appealed to well-wishers, organization and institutions to partner with the prison to ensure the inmates are rehabilitated to unite with the society when they get out of the facility.
KCA University, Kitengela Campus Director Dr. Fred Sporta said the inmates have a second chance in life to be successful, he urged them to take various courses in the facility.
The director also urged the society to stop stigmatizing the inmates when they come out of prison but welcome them so that they feel being part of the society.
The prisoners were encouraged not to give up in life, the prison is a place for rehabilitation to become better persons in the society and full fill your dreams.
