Narok Deputy governor Tamalinye Koech has commended Rotary Club of Maasai Mara Narok for their projects in Narok County.
The DP who was speaking during installation of the club new president Phelisters Aroko said the club has improved livelihood of locals by implementing major projects.
Some of the projects the Rotary Club has implemented is supply of dignity packs to learners, construction of water tanks, toilets, dormitories, dining halls among other projects.
Koech however urged them to consider all the Narok sub counties.
Engineer George Muyera said that the Rotary Club is planning to do a major project in Narok, requested any willing donor to support them through the Rotary foundation.
He requested the county bosses to join the Rotary Club.
Munyera concluded by saying that Rotary club does a lot of networking and they donated funds for eradicating Polio in the world and that Rotarians can be used to create awareness to the communities across Narok county.
The new President Aroko said that under her leadership the Rotary club will hold mentorship of street children, construct toilets in schools, procure tanks for water harvesting and train women on table banking.
