Kajiado North Deputy County Commissioner Tom Anjera has issued a warning to business people who work without permits in the sub county.

The DCC met with Kajiado County officials in a closed meeting in Rongai Chief’s office to discuss security and noise pollution.

The meeting resulted to a hunt for individuals involved in noise pollution around Tumaini area and Maasai lodge. The business vendors with no licenses were forced to close their shops immediately.

“It has come to our attention that most businesses have no licenses and most people are working here illegally. Our main concern is noise pollution which is mostly made by hawkers and promotion outlets, matatus and crusades,” said the DCC.

Nkaimurunya Ward Administrator Rebecca Supeyo said the raid is going to be a continuous process until the businesspeople adapt to the system.
