Kajiado County senator Philip Mpaayei has apologised after he was forcefully ejected from Churchill Show event held in Ongata Rongai recently for allegedly misbehaving.
“It’s completely ok and mature to admit a mistake and confess the Lord is working on my character, it is simple and honourable,” he posted on his Twitter and Facebook accounts.
The senator was accused of being drunk during the show which was held last week.
He allegedly interrupted comedians who he accused of failing to recognise him during the well-attended event, the security personnel were forced to kick him out.
On Sunday the senator was in a local church event that he streamed live on social media.
County residents on social media have been calling for his impeachment for embarrassing Kajiado people.
