One Alliance (OKA) principals have promised more job opportunities to Kitengela youths by introducing three working shifts on Sunday, 14th November after attending a church service in Kiserian.
The Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka said that Kitengela is an Export Processing Zone
(EPZ), through this, the residents can benefit from it by creating more job opportunities.
“Kitengela has many investors. We shall introduce a model of working in three shifts.
The first shift from 8am to 4pm, 4pm to midnight and from midnight to morning. This will give
Kenyan youths jobs,” Musyoka said.
He added that the Kenyan constitution does not guarantee that the payment of salary
should be done on a monthly basis.
“It is not a must that you are paid salary after one month. We as OKA principals we say
that you will be paid after one week or two weeks to increase the circulation of money,” he
added. The leaders also promised free secondary school education.
“We shall bring free secondary education. The parents have suffered a lot,” Gideon Moi said.
He added that if they form the next government, they will slash taxation up to 50 percent. He also insisted on inclusivity.
The Ford Kenya Party Leader Moses Wetangula on the other hand promised free NHIF to
the families that are not working.
Musyoka downgraded the initiative by Raila Odinga to cushion the poor families with
Ksh6000 stipend.
The OKA principle said that it is prudent to give Kenyans fishing rod than the fish.
The Hustler Narrative was also criticized saying the Kenyans should not be lured with
cheap things.
