Nkaimurunya MCA lauded for working with opposition leaders

Nkaimurunya Ward representative James Waisha has been commended for uniting and working with opposition leaders who he defeated in the last general election.
The Jubilee Party politician had united with his competitor Elvis Mwashi of Orange Democratic Party and they have been working together including attending church services.
The MCA said the move by the two to work together prevented post-election violence in Kware slum after the August polls.
“We were united before the Uhuru and Raila handshake, we should learn to work as brothers and sisters, politics should not divide us,” he observed.
During a visit by leaders to his home after death of the MCA’s sister who died of cancer, the MCA was praised by leaders for uniting residents in his ward. The leaders included Governor Joseph ole Lenku, Kajiado North Member of Parliament Joseph Manje, Deputy Governor Martin Moshisho, County Assembly Speaker Johnson Osoi, MCAs and other leaders.
Deputy Governor Moshisho said the county will ensure that Ongata Health Hospital is upgraded to level four.

    I wish to recognize Hon James Waisha for his humility and ability to work with everyone. He has perfectly managed relationships with the private sector in his ward to even inviting and facilitating for breakfast meeting to interactive sessions.

    He is a great leader and a peace and unity icon.
