MP Manje’s achievement is nil in 8 yrs, Ngogoyo says

Kajiado County nominated Member of County Assembly Onesmus Ngogoyo has accused Kajiado North Constituency Member of parliament Joseph Manje of under-performing.

The MCA said the MP has been in power for eight years but has nothing to be celebrated by electorates.

“In every financial year every constituency receives 100 million for CDF which is used in putting up projects, what else has he done for his people,” he said. He added that students getting bursaries is their right.

The MCA who was speaking in Nkaimurunya Ward on Thursday during Soko Mjinga market traders’ prayers day,noted that in other regions MPs are fighting to ensure their people benefit from flagship projects while in his constituency is all about CDF.

“If you go to Kikuyu and Mombasa we have modern markets , why is he not fighting for Rongai to get a modern market , these are eight years with nil achievement,” he said. He said the traders should not have be selling on the roadsides if the MP was caring and electorates are facing challenges due to poor leadership.

Ngogoyo said he will take the Soko Mjinga traders to deputy president William Ruto to be empowered through their Sacco, he noted that the traders should be supported to expand their businesses, they will also receive wheelbarrows from the DP. The MCA has expressed interest in vying for MP position in North.
