MP Manje Warns of Premature Politics as Ngogoyo Invites DP Ruto

Kajiado North Constituency Member of Parliament Joseph Manje has cautioned politicians campaigning for 2022 presidential position saying it is premature and delays development.

The MP said politicians should focus in developing their regions and the country cannot afford to do campaigns for two years.

“There is no elections next year, that is why people like us are quiet, let us work until the last year for campaigns,” he said.

Manje who was speaking during a tree planting event in Ongata Rongai also condemned leaders who have been abusing President Uhuru Kenyatta; he said the politicians should respect the president and his family.

The MP’s sentiments comes after nominated MCA Onesmus  Ngogoyo said Deputy President William Ruto will be in Kajiado North soon , the DP was in Kitengela last weekend , he was hosted by nominated senator Mary Seneta. The event was attended by Kajiado West MP George Sunkuyia, speaker Johnson Osoi among other leaders.

Ngogoyo has been a darling to Ruto , he has attended several of DP’s functions, the MCA will vie for Kajiado North MP position in 2022.

Several MCAs from Kajiado County have been hosted by the DP in his Karen home, with several groups. Kajiado South MP Katoo ole Metito also took a delegation from his constituency to the DP home.

According to sources Ruto is seeking to get a young politician who will spread his agenda in North, due to onslaught against him and his lieutenants by the State and his Jubilee party.

Three political camps have emerged in the county; with sources indicating that some elected leaders among them Jubilee MCAs who have not been attending Ruto’s functions are planning for a meeting with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga .MP Peris Tobiko,former governor David Nkedianye, former Senator Peter Mositet,politician Tarayia ole Kores,former NTSA Director Francis Meja,Ole Magelo among other leaders also held a meeting with the former PM on 8th September .
