Miss Kajiado County presents Christmas gifts to children’s home

Orphans at Ngamwanza Children Home and Support Center in Ongata Rongai had a reason to smile when Miss Kajiado County 2017, Giullian Julian Wairimu led other well-wishers to present them with Christmas gifts, snacks and foodstuffs.
The overjoyed orphans huddled around Ms Wairimu as she joined them in song and dance and playing various games.
The kids were eager to learn from some of the best young models and designers who accompanied Miss Kajiado County.
The children received encouragement and motivation from the young model who is also the current title holder of Miss Fire and Miss Environment all won in a single year. She is also a student in USA studying electrical engineering.
Lydia Kinyua, the director and founder of Ngamwanza Children Home thanked the young models for visiting the home.
She started the home in 2003 for the abandoned children with 25 children. Currently it shelters over 60 children.
She lauded Mwathi Pere Ongata Rongai Ward  Member of County Assembly (MCA) for offering bursaries, food  to the home.
