Kitengela residents warned over careless waste disposal

Kitengela residents including landlords and landladies, business owners have been warned careless waste disposal during the current  short rains.

Residents have raised alarm over waste disposal along on the streets.

“Some individuals don’t care about environment conservation and cleanliness,” lamented a resident.

First Lady Ednah Lenku and Chief Officer Dr. James Sankale, Environment and Natural Resources led Kitengela residents and faithful in a cleanup exercise that was organized by St. Monica Catholic Church in Kitengela.

During the exercise leaders decried the habit of some plot owners who dump waste and sewage on the streets.
