Award winning coach Hamisi Mohamed from Oloolua Ward, Kajiado County has been selected by World Remit to compete in a public vote dubbed ‘Future Stars’.

English Premier League side Arsenal FC had partnered with World Remit, an online money transfer platform, to run “Future Stars” coaching programme for two weeks in London. One coach who will be selected competitively through public voting will train with Arsenal’s Soccer School coaches in London.
Six finalists from Africa, among them Hamisi, have been picked to compete for the chance to attend the training programme.
Hamisi, popularly known as ‘Coach KaKa’, is the only finalist from Kenya. He has been a role model to many and has been empowering the youth through sports in Kajiado North Constituency.
The voluntary coaching sessions have reduced drug usage, tribalism and crime in the region and country by extension. He is one of the most respected sports analysts in the country.
Hamisi wants to reach out to more youth to curb tribalism, drugs and crime if he wins the sponsorship.
To vote for him visit futurestars.worldremit.com on or before 5th October 2018.
