A taxi driver was burnt beyond recognition and his spouse who sustained serious injuries died in hospital following a grisly road accident at Suswa area along Narok- Mai Mahiu route.
According to Narok County Police Commandant Kizito Mutoro, a Wingroad car was coming from Narok and trying to overtake another car when it collided head-on with an oncoming Premio vehicle.
The impact caused fire outbreak and the driver of the Wingroad who was traveling with his spouse was burnt beyond recognition.
According to eyewitnesses the Wingroad car was overspeeding and trying to overtake.
The body the two were taken to Narok referral hospital mortuary for preservation awaiting postmortem.
The couple left achild aged six years.
Drivers plying the route have been asked to be more careful on road.
