Celebral palsy cause for concern in Kajiado

By Rosemil Oduor

Autism has been recognized as a cause of concern  in many parts of Kajiado County.

Speaking during the ground breaking ceremony of Kajiado multipurpose disability friendly centre , Nominated  Jubilee MP Isaac Mwaura noted that cerebral palsy was a cause of concern and urged that a solution be sought.

Regional National Council for People With Disabilities (NCPWD) chair Isaac Manyonge supported  Mwaura’s sentiments claiming that about 200 children were affected. Cerebral palsy was also noted to be a cause of concern.

Manyonge urged parents to register children with various disabilities , saying that between 3rd-7th June, there would be mass registration of people with disabilities.

The leaders called on parents to stop hiding their children who were affected by autism and  cerebral palsy.
