Former Narok County Commissioner Samuel Kimiti surprised street children in the town with a heavy breakfast in the wake of the ongoing global pandemic.

The breakfast was served to over 50 street children and a few street families who celebrated with glee as sampled the dishes.

Some could simply not hide their amusement after they were remembered by the authorities.

The children’s department was ordered by the county Commissioner to take a database of all the street children in the county in a bid to rehabilitate them.

During the breakfast meeting held at PCEA boy’s children home, Kimiti said most of the children are from vulnerable backgrounds and returning them to their homes could not help them.
